When it comes to women, I know what they want. And all day long, I give it to them. Dark, broody, and sexy? You got it. Need to laugh? I’m your guy. Desperate for something to put you in the mood? You’ve come to the right place, kitten.

Every morning when my library opens, there’s a line around the block, the ladies flocking to me in need of their next book boyfriend. I’m that dude. The one who knows his way around the romance section. And if you think that hasn’t gotten me plenty of action over the years, you’d be wrong.

But I made a slight miscalculation at work, and now my reputation has my job in danger. If I can’t prove to my boss that I’m more than a playboy who recommends romance in the hopes of getting some hanky panky in the stacks, I’m headed for the unemployment line.

Enter Parker Elliott. She rocks a mean guitar, she has no idea how sexy she is, and she’s in need of a temporary fake boyfriend.

Best of all? She doesn’t have a library card. I couldn’t have found a better fake fiancée if I’d written her myself.

Stud in the Stacks is 55,000 sexy, hilarious, sometimes embarrassing words, complete with tacos, romance novel love, unicorn parties, and no cheating or cliffhangers.

"I thought Parker was pretty kick-ass in Mr. McHottie, but didn't realize how totally fabulous she was/is until Stud in the Stacks. Once again, Pippa Grant had me hysterically laughing at the antics that ensue with her cast of characters. This book will have you hooked from page one. The chemistry between Knox and Parker can't even be hindered by a collection of cock-blocking conditions; mom, nana, cacti, Navy SEALs...anything is possible. The saucy, sassy, feistyness will have you turning the pages and promising yourself, "just one more chapter". Don't kid yourself. Get comfy, make sure you're alone ( otherwise plan on repeatedly explaining why you are laughing so hard), and prepare to be entertained. You might also want some tissues; for the tears from laughing so hard your face hurts, and from the feels....not that I needed them for that of course ;) I even ended up with some new book suggestions. Thank you, Mr. Romance. I only have one problem with this book...now I'm wanting more about Lila as well as the Elliott brothers (since Zeus and Ares are already planned...yay!). It could be a whole feisty, sarcastic, yummy universe ala Lauren Landish's Irresistible Bachelors."

  • I pre-ordered this book as soon as I finished Mr. McHottie am let me tell you the expectations were high. Although I wasn’t completely disappointed for me it was not as awesome as I expected and the reason is quite simple Parker unfortunately. She had a lot of great qualities but overall she just wasn’t as exquisite as all the rest of the characters. Knox on the other hand is perfect book boyfriend material and I will not be able to watch Lion King with my kid the same way ever before, much like Mr. McHottie changed bratwurst for me.
Before I leave you to read the book I will give you a short list of instructions
    1. Make sure you do not snack while reading - serious chocking hazard
    2. All beverages should be consumed while pausing the reading or you might end up snorting them out through your nose
    3. Book best read alone - people tend to offer funny looks when you start laughing uncontrollably because of a book.
The laughing will come uncontrollably and at random times. Can’t wait for Zeus’s story - again the expectations are soooo high.
  • I have been waiting for this book since about two seconds after I finished Pippa Grant's first book, Mr. McHottie. Ms. Grant's signature humor is right up my alley. And while there is a sweet romance within the pages, and important themes at the book's heart, the witty retorts and jokes that would have a 5th grade boy laughing are really what sold it for me.

Knox Moretti is Mr. Romance. In more ways than one. He looks hot in a loincloth. He has smoking moves in the bedroom. He writes a witty book blog. And he LOVES romance novels. I mean, is this the perfect guy, or what? The answer is no. He's not. Because no one is perfect. And Knox has some fatal flaws. He's a player, committed to no commitments when it comes to relationships. He *may* have called out a prominent NY Times reporter. And he has a relatively sizable ego. But meeting Parker Elliot may prove to be his biggest challenge yet.

Parker Elliott is happy with her life. Well, mostly. She has a job she loves. She enjoys her gigs with the all-girl boy band cover band she's a member of. And she LOVES her independence and her space. Looking for a significant other is pretty low on her priority list. But attending her high school reunion has pretty much been mandated by her boss, who is also her best friend's fiancé, and she doesn't want to let him down. So date- shopping she must go. And her fondness for Tarzan has her blabbing her embarrassing back story to a very sexy bachelor following a very unsuccessful bidding war.

What ensues is the best of hot and hilarious. Unicorn blanket rides and copious amounts of tacos. New Kids on the Block battles and fiery no strings attached sex. SEAL brothers and kale-wearing ex-husbands. And in the end, two people who have historically cherished their independent lifestyles over everything else, will have to determine what they really value most.

  • Parker Elliot is in a pickle and not in a good way. But she's got a plan and she's not gonna let anyone stand in her way.

Knox Moretti is more that just a pretty face, he's the whole package. He's fine with the single life, settling down isn't even on his radar. But the proposition he just received from Parker is about to turn his world upside in ways he never expected.

What started out as two friends helping each other out quickly starts to change the more they spend together. Can they find a way to get pack their history and age difference to build a solid relationship for the long haul? Or will they go their separate ways when their original deal ends?

Stud in the Stacks is a fun, saucy, enchanting read that will captivate the reader from the begging until the exciting end.

The dynamic between Parker and Knox sizzles right from the start and only continues to grow as the story progresses. I love how they get each other and help each other through the good and the bad.

Knox may be younger, but he's years old in experience than Parker and helps her bring out her sensual side. Parker helps Knox become a more than just Mr. Romance.

I loved every salacious, mouthwatering, hilarious moment of Stud in the Stacks. The storyline was fun and exciting, the characters well developed and intriguing, and the passion was hot, hot, hot.

If you love a well-read hero that will knock your socks off, a strong-willed heroine that speaks her mind, and romance that makes your panties melt, then I highly recommend you pick Stud in the Stacks today. Knox will show you a good time and leave you well satisfied.
